Les Sumner, Tom Darden, Steve Livingston, Bill Rutledge, 
Doug Pannell and Bill Russell.

"The Paul Rainey Ballroom Band was formed in 1977. Their name 
comes from their having practiced in the Rainey Hotel Ballroom. 
Much of their equipment was ruined in the fire that destroyed 
the hotel in 1981. Current (1990) members of the band are: 
Steve Livingston, Les Sumner, Bill Farned, Susie Land, 
Gary Hall, John Swords, Tom Coltharp, and Doyle Caviness. 
They play engagements throughout the state."
